All Silent On The Wold Of Darkness Front

So was it just me that didn't realize that CCP owns White Wolf? Yeah, I suppose it was…

Why does that matter? Well, because CCP is developing the World of Darkness MMO (White Wolf's table-top universe) at their own slow pace. And because they host parties that have to do with WoD at game conventions, but don't bother doling out any new information on the title. And because I really, really want to play a Tremere. Right. Now!

I know wishing game companies would give out more information is like wishing that Santa was real, but still… I want more info! Yeah, CCP is dedicated to EVE Online and the upcoming DUST 884572.90/3 (or whatever it's called), but that doesn't mean we can't get some solid info from them on this upcoming title.

It just makes me think that they've put the game on the back shelf entirely. CCP had previously said that they'd be focusing on developing WoD from March of this year and on, but there just hasn't been much released yet. Since that time, we've gotten news on a console game that we didn't even know was in the works and had a completely new EVE expansion hit the live server… but no Vampirey goodness.

Maybe this is my angsty, World of Darkness playing, inner-teenager creeping to the surface, but I'm losing hope for the most goth of goth MMOs.
