Dear AOC: Ughhh... What?

Browsing through Age of Conan's Letter from the Game Director for September, I was trying to get an idea of what some of the Veteran Rewards for the game might be. The idea of the Veteran's Reward program sounds great, giving players that have subscribed to the game more items that can help their alts or "fluff" items for their main characters, such as:

Social Items

• Size potions – 2 points (potions that allow you to grow in size for a period)
• Arm Enlarging potion (potions that make your character a little more buff)
• Breast Enlarging potion (female only)
• Fireworks – 2 points each
• Companion: Casilda (will summon Casilda to cheer you on just like she did on the beach when you started your Hyborian adventure!)
• Pet: Hyena – (will summon a non combat Hyena pet).

I'm sorry, what was that? You want to add Breast Enlargement Potions to your game? And you're gladly totting about this on your forums?!?

Maybe Craig Morrison isn't familiar with the concept of sexism, but I would think after their "women are weaker than men" debacle, he'd have figured out that stuff like this is not OK. Breast Enlargement Potions? For reals?

I know I've talked about the looks of characters before, but never have I asked for a Extenze pill for my male toons, or for butt enlargements. That's just plain ignorant. And if you have a "fluff" item that you have to label as "female only," I think that's the point at which you say 'You know what, this probably isn't a good idea.' Well, at least you do if you aren't the Director for Age of Conan.

At this point, I'm glad I decided to drop my subscription to AOC. If this item actually makes it in game, then I will not even consider Rise of the Godslayer as an option for a future purchase. Congratulations, Craig, I think you've done it again. Perhaps now you can get Pamela Anderson to be your Mr. T.
