Weekend Update - If Only I Were Sober

This weekend was a bit of a blur. Since I had such a joy of a week at work last week, this weekend consisted of far too many adult drinks to count, and far too few hours of sleep! However, I was able to squeeze some game time in, which was a bit of a surprise, but here's what I was up to in my less intoxicated moments:

Lord of the Rings Online

I didn't log in much time this weekend. However, I did get through the Epic storyline for 1.2 out in the Lone Lands. I also played a bit with my Burglar, which at least at low levels is a really fun class. There is just nothing more exciting that one-shotting mobs from stealth! I'm a bit stuck on whether to stick with my Hunter full-time or dedicate more time to the Burglar, but it's most likely that I'll do what I always do in these situations: play whatever seems fun to me at the time.

Warrior Epic

I mentioned this game a few weeks ago and didn't really come back to it. It's a new free to play game that focuses on good ol' dungeon crawling and super-fun hack-n-slash action. I dumped a couple hours into the game over the weekend and am so far enjoying my time there. There are a few things this game does well, a small number of unique features, and plenty of familiar features as well, all ground up into a potion of addiction. I haven't quite run into a full-on game breaker yet, and the game offers enough of what I've been looking for to keep me coming back. Not to mention it's free! Look back for more over the next few weeks, as I think I'll be giving the game a first impression and initial review soon.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines

This is a bit of an older RPG based on the Source engine. The game came out a few years back to mediocre reviews, but as y'all know, I love me some V:TM. I never got around to finishing off the game on my first play through because I upgraded to Vista and I just couldn't get the game to run for the longest, however I decided on Friday to re-download it from Steam and give it another shot. We all know Vista didn't have the greatest start, but they've done plenty to it since, and as it turns out whatever prevented me from playing V:TMB previously has been fixed. This time around, I created a dubious Tremere… man, I just love making things around me convulse in their own blood!

What have you been up to?

So maybe your weekend was a bit more sober than mine, or maybe you set aside more time to game than I did. In any case, let me know what you've been up to this weekend!

When are you going to post the mythic package? We're dying to see the codes.
